Our First Santa Fe Vending Machine Coming to Tumbleroot!
I can finally share the news — our very first vending machine is officially going to live at Tumbleroot Distillery on Agua Fria in Santa Fe! I couldn’t be more excited to launch in one of my favorite local spots.
When I met with Evan, the bar manager, I was blown away by the energy of their music space. The rustic, Santa Fe style décor had me instantly imagining how our machine could fit right in — and for the first time in six years, I’ll be taking the reins as the artist for this one. I even sketched out a mock-up drawing to show how the design will reflect Tumbleroot’s warm, eclectic vibe. (I’ll be sharing that sketch in this post so you can get a sneak peek!)
This machine is going to be custom-made for Tumbleroot, and it’s not your average vending experience. Inside you’ll find art, vintage treasures, and novelty items — all with a strong local flavor. We’re featuring Native New Mexican and Native American artists, many of whom come from multigenerational families rooted in this region. Supporting local creatives has always been at the heart of what we do, and I can’t think of a better venue to showcase their work.
If you’ve ever hung out at Tumbleroot, you know how special it is — the outdoor patio is one of my favorite places to relax, meet friends, and enjoy the atmosphere. That’s why I think it’s the perfect first home for our first machine! And the timing couldn’t be better, because on September 18th at 5:30pm, Tumbleroot will host a mayoral Q&A organized by 505omatic. Kids are welcome, so it’s a great chance to engage with the community and enjoy the space. Hopefully we will have it installed by then, but if not, it will be on-site by the end of the month. I can’t wait for you to see it in person!
Stay tuned for updates, and I’ll be sure to share pictures once the installation is complete.
See you soon at Tumbleroot!
